GNML PH Final Session

As I have been participating in an online workshop called Global New Media Lab, I will be glad to share about the things that I have learnt in using different social media platforms for social change.

Blogger- I find this the most useful platform. You can emerge all other social media to one page. It is very managable for a social media campaign.
Twitter- By using hashtag, I can easily find tweets similar to my campaign. I can follow relevant people/organization and see their tweets easily. I easily get updated about the world too.
Youtube- is a great social media platform to spread my campaign message thru a video. You can easily find videos only by looking up a key word related to your project.
Facebook- Facebook pages is really cool. Since I already have a thousand of friends on my facebook account, I invited most of them to like my page. Some of them even shared it.
Instagram- I found this the most fun one. Since pictures are a great tool for my campaign, I can easily post them on instagram and write a caption with it. I can even share it to Facebook and twitter.
LinkedIn- LinkedIn is a very professional place for serious campaign. It is where I can easily find people who can actually help me with my campaign.

•The most rewarding experience for me is getting to know how Blogger works. It is very useful and very customizable. It is very helpful for my social campaign. I even made another blogger page for personal purpose.
•The most challenging among the 10sessions is updating all other social media platforms and then summing them up to a blog. I always keep my blogger as updated as possible. I wanted to keep on blogging and attract more audience.
•When I go back to the Philippines, I would love to educate my people about the use of social media for project/campaign purposes, for free. I would love to start with my friends and family first. I will connect with people who have similar experiences too.

I am glad to be part of GNML Classroom2015. Go Go Go GNML!

The Aga Khan Museum Marawi City

"I’ve only scratched the surface of Marawi City, my second visit when I went back there last June as part of my 1828 KM travel around West Mindanao. Journey To Marawi City

Marawi is a very unique city in the Philippines. It is a nice place to visit. I found an interesting article by WanderingJoshua about his journey to Marawi. He mentioned in the article the rich culture in the place, the people, the museum, the good views and all other stuff that he had seen in Marawi. The article includes good pictures of the place. Read and explore The Beauty Of Marawi. :)
