With a family composed of eight children and two parents, we live in a simple and peaceful way. I grew up with a loving parents who constantly work hard to meet our basic needs, send us to school and even support me with my dream of going out of the country and see the world.
Now, I am in USA as an exchange student. I have traveled almost around the globe. I meet a lot of different people and learn different cultures. Everyday of my journey here in America, I get to understand more and more about what has been missing in my country for years. I want to use all of the things i'm learning to help my home country.
Other things I am interested in is Music and Arts. After singing "Isang Lahi" as my cultural performance during WorldLink Orientation, my Local Coordinator sent a video of my performance to Conservatory, a musical school where people learn how to play instruments, to act, to sing and all other kind of performances. I got a scholarship to attend the school for a year.
I also go to a Performing Arts School where I have Choir, Percussion, Drawing, Theatre and Digital Photography Classes.
When I come back on June30, I am looking forward to making a change for the betterment of my home community.
